Dr. Fatu Forna is one of my favorite humans in the entire world. She's an OB/GYN that has a passion for helping Mommas navigate the world of puberty and sex with our babies. Many of us probably never even had the conversation with our parents and now we are responsible for having this conversation with our kiddies. As an OB, I can tell you that ignoring the topic doesn't make the curiosity go away. I babies will find a way to get information and many times it's the wrong information that lands them in my office for OB appointments way too early. And lets not talk about the misinformation that keeps them from coming to my office for abnormal menses and vaginal issues. Let's be honest Mommas, we might not want to have this conversation, but we have to have this conversation. Our babies are depending on us.
