Day 243 – Watchman’s Call: God’s Glory and Ezekiel’s Mission — Ezekiel 1–3 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

Listen Later

Today we begin the book of Ezekiel with chapters 1–3. Ezekiel is given a stunning vision of God’s glory that overwhelms him, followed by his commission as a prophet to a stubborn and rebellious people. God appoints him as a watchman, responsible to speak His word faithfully whether the people listen or not.Questions:1. Ezekiel falls facedown when he sees the vision of God’s glory (ch. 1). How does this remind us of the holiness and majesty of God?2. God tells Ezekiel that Israel is a rebellious people but still commands him to speak. What does this teach us about obedience in ministry, even when results aren’t guaranteed?3. As God’s watchman, Ezekiel is accountable for delivering His message. How should this shape the way we think about our responsibility to share truth today?Use my affiliate link to get the CSB apologetics study bible hereMy video review the CSB Apologetics Study BibleAll our links are here
