Day 25 📖 The Unseen Path | Genesis 50:1–Exodus 2:10; John 13:31–14:14; Psalm 21:1–13; Proverbs 5:1–6
Welcome to GraceVine's Daily Bible, where we journey through the scriptures together. Today, we stand at a monumental turning point. As we close the book of Genesis, we witness the end of an era and dive into the epic story of Exodus. It’s a powerful narrative of how circumstances can shift from security to severe hardship, yet even in the darkest moments, God is preparing a rescuer and revealing the true path forward through impossible situations.
What You’ll Hear
Genesis & Exodus: Joseph’s story concludes with a final act of faith, but a new king rises in Egypt, turning the Israelites from honored guests into oppressed slaves. Yet, in the face of a death decree, the quiet courage of two midwives and a mother’s desperate love sets the stage for a miraculous deliverance.
John: As Jesus prepares his disciples for his departure, he gives them a new command that will define them: to love one another. When they feel lost and confused about the future, he offers the most profound comfort, declaring, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Psalms: A king rejoices not in his own power or military might, but in the strength and victory granted by the Lord. This psalm is a beautiful picture of the stability and joy that come from placing one's complete trust in God.
Proverbs: We receive a crucial warning about a path that appears alluring, with words as smooth as honey, but ultimately leads to bitterness and death. It’s a call to discernment and to choose the way of life.
