Nothing to Prove

'In Christ' holds so much promise, assurance, and confidence. We must find our confidence 'in Christ' because otherwise, our why becomes more about "we" than He. It's a slippery slope to try and rebuild what God seeks to destroy, yet we often do just that. We are meant to die to ourselves and live for God. God desires to destroy the chains of sin and destruction in our lives that keep us bound. But, we will choose to act like we have something to prove and our pride and egos get in the way of what God gently directs.
