The wrath of God is poured out onto Egypt and its rulers who consider themselves gods in Ezekiel 29 through 31, and a stern prophecy of their coming destruction. He laments the loss of belief in His people, who long to return to the troubled land even after the Lord set them free from their oppression 800 years prior.
