We often say the phrase "praying for you", but perhaps we pray amiss. Prayer is not just about getting what we want. It is about doing life with Jesus and crying out to Him with all that we encounter in this life.
Bible Reading: 2 Chr. 6-10
Verse of the day: 2 Chronicles 6:19, "Yet have regard to the prayer of Your servant and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant prays before You."
Word of the day: Supplication. It is the Hebrew word: תְּחִנָּה (tekh-in-naw').
It means to request favor or grace, plea for mercy.
