Today we pray 1 Peter 1:3-5 over the Hindu World
Transcript:
This interim period between Dussehra and Diwali signifies the journey Ram, Sita and Ram’s brother, Laxman, make from Sri Lanka back to Ayodhya in Northern India. This Journey is one of hope, as the royal family returns to their royal city.
The Apostle Peter tells us about a living hope that is set on the assurance of salvation in Jesus’ Kingdom. Let’s pray 1 Peter 1:3-5 together.
We blessed You God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we rejoice in your great mercy, for you have caused all who believe in you to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Father, pour out your great mercy on the Hindu world today that through the resurrection power of your son Jesus you would cause Hindus to be brought into this living hope as they look to the imperishable, undefiled and unfading inheritance of your eternal kingdom.
We ask this in your name Jesus, Amen.
