"The intense elation of standing at my bedroom window at the end of a long day and seeing the world lit up in colour, hues of gold complimented perfectly by deep blues and pretty pinks, is something I never experienced pre-pandemic. I have always loved watching the sunset, that much is true, but what previously would have simply been something to admire is now an experience that is well and truly felt. In that moment of presence there is nothing more important than the beauty of yet another ending. And while every day ends, not every ending is the same, and each time I see a brand new reflection or a single extra cloud, I think of the individuality of us all, and how the slightest gesture from each person contributes to something magnificent."
