š Ā Read Today's Passages (January 30, 2022)
Written By: Torrie Slaughter
If you ask Finance Advisor Dave Ramsey, "how are you today?" He responds, "Better than I deserve."
Interestingly it is a very Biblical response. Matthew 20:14-15 Jesus' parables about the Kingdom of heaven repeatedly uses everyday situations to help us understand. Heaven is not like this world. It isn't every human out for themselves. We will receive more than we deserve for the work we have completed no matter the length of time we've committed to it.
Jesus further stipulates that we are not to lord over one another. He came to serve, which is the definition of greatness within the Kingdom. (Matthew 20:25-28)
