Day 300 – The Birth of the Savior: God With Us — Luke 1–2 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

Listen Later

In these opening chapters of Luke, the long-awaited promises of God begin to unfold. We witness the miraculous births of John the Baptist and Jesus, the Messiah. Angels announce good news to shepherds, Mary magnifies the Lord with her song, and Simeon and Anna recognize the salvation of God in the face of a child. These chapters remind us that God steps into human history not with spectacle, but with humility and grace.Questions:1. Both Mary and Zechariah respond to God’s message in very different ways. What do their reactions teach us about faith and doubt?2. The angels announce “peace on earth” at Jesus’ birth. How does Jesus redefine what true peace means?3. Simeon calls Jesus “a light for revelation to the Gentiles.” What does this early declaration reveal about God’s heart for all nations?Use my affiliate link to get the CSB apologetics study bible hereMy video review the CSB Apologetics Study BibleAll our links are here
