An angel of the Lord appeared to Moses through a bush at Horeb. The bush was burning, but it was not consumed. God told Moses to go to Egypt to deliver God’s people from bondage to the promised land. He told Moses to tell the people that “I AM”, the God of their fathers sent him. God warned Moses that Pharaoh would not release Israel until God struck Egypt with wonders. Moses made excuses, but God provided him with power to prove he was sent from God. God called Moses’ brother Aaron to speak for him. Moses and Aaron went to Egypt and performed the miracles of God. The people believed their message and worshipped God.
