When an entity becomes community instead of being part of a community, individuals that do the work can suffer when they are cut off from the entity. This happens because there is no support from the other parts of the community. Sometimes the person is told that they other parts of the community are evil and that they should not associate with them, which I believe is a disservice to the individual.
