King David praised God in Psalm 30 for delivering him from his enemies. He encouraged others to praise Yahweh and trust His plan. We learn from the Psalms that we can cry out to our Lord, lay our burdens down, and sing His praise. The incredible peace and comfort that comes from worship are healing to our mind, body, and souls.
Psalm 30:4-5 Sing praises to the Lord, O you his saints,Ā and give thanks to his holy name.5 For his anger is but for a moment,Ā and his favor is for a lifetime.Weeping may tarry for the night,Ā but joy comes with the morning.
While we are waiting for the coming of our Lord, we must prepare. The end of this world will certainly come. And when it happens, it will be as evident as vultures circling overhead. (Matthew 24:28)
