The word of the Lord came to Ezekiel with words of destruction against Egypt. The Lord proclaimed the fall of Egypt by the hands of Babylon. The land would become desolate, and they would know that He is the Lord God. The people would be scattered, and Pharaoh would groan before his enemy as he was disarmed and made weak. The word of the Lord came to Ezekiel again and proclaimed the fall of Pharaoh. He was ruler over a powerful nation with many resources, but the Lord would make it desolate and send Pharaoh to the place of death.
