Ezekiel was given a vision by the Lord of a new temple that was measured and described by a man whose appearance was like bronze. The temple described could be a literal temple to be built during the millennial, or a symbolic reference to God’s people being the temple. The temple is described in the prophesy with a supernatural perspective and its aim is certainly the worship of the Lord God. Chapter forty details the East Gate, the Outer Court, the North Gate, the South Gate, the Inner Court, the Chambers of the Priests, and the Vestibule of the Temple.
