Jesus performed a miracle by turning water into wine. Jesus cleansed the temple of those who made it a marketplace for personal gain. Jesus explained the requirement of being born again to see the Kingdom of God. John emphasized the power of Jesus and taught that belief in the Son of God was necessary for eternal life. John provided a message of submission toward Jesus in chapter 3 verse 30 when he wrote, “He must increase, but I must decrease”.
