 Sometimes the person most responsible for smothering the fire is us. We pull back. We get tired. We stop speaking, stop moving, stop believing—but the fire God placed in us won’t let us quit. Just like Jeremiah, even when we try to hold it in, the fire burns too strong to be silenced. This devotional reminds us that not even we can put out what God has started.
