Genesis 12–15 introduces Abram, later Abraham, as God calls him to leave his home and step into the unknown. In faith, he trusts God’s promise to make him a great nation and a blessing to the world.

As he journeys, Abram shows generosity and courage, A righteous man who truly knew The Lord.

Along the way, God reaffirms His promises, makes a formal covenant, promising Abram countless descendants and the land, even though he has none yet. Abram believes God, and that faith is credited to him as righteousness.
