Night 4: Restoring What Was Lost

  • Scripture: Joel 2:25 (NIV) - "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—the great swarm, the young locusts, and the other locusts and the locusts' young—my great army that I sent among you."
  • Teaching Points:
    • Identifying the "locusts": Recognizing the things that have been stolen from us—time, opportunities, finances, relationships, and peace.
    • The promise of divine repayment: God's ability to not only give back but to multiply what the enemy intended to destroy.
    • Trusting in God's timing: Understanding that restoration may not be instantaneous, but it is guaranteed for those who wait on Him.
    • Moving from regret to expectancy: Shifting our focus from what was lost to what God is about to restore and replenish.
