Today is the last day I planned to be in this desert. I planned the excursion before quarantines became a thing here in Panama. Many joined me in the desert. Turns out there are deserts all over the planet, even in the tropics. There is only one oasis.

Today is the day I celebrate the Lord’s Supper. It’s Thursday. People are still eating and drinking. Jesus’ disciples are still following Him, some up close and others at a distance. Some betray Him, to this day!

Psalm 100 reminds me to be thankful. If we have Jesus, the Son of God, in common, you’re thankful, too.

Doing this in English every evening for the past 40 days has been an eye-opener for me. Language and culture stick together like peanut butter and jelly. This’ll probably be the last English podcast for a while; everyone ‘round these parts prefer Spanish.
