Day 436 | Four Serissa Blooms, Sakura Still Waiting

📝 Description (YouTube)
Day 436 — March 11, 2026 (Tokyo)
Tokyo remains cold today.
The air still feels closer to winter than spring.
The Hakuchōge (Serissa) continues to bloom —
today I counted four places where flowers have opened.
Small white blossoms appearing one after another.
Quiet signs that the season is moving forward.
The Asahiyama Sakura, however, still has not bloomed.
The buds remain closed.
Perhaps the cold weather is slowing things down.
But the buds are still firm and alive.
Sometimes spring arrives first in one plant,
and only later in another.
Nature rarely moves in perfect synchrony.
⸻
🌿 Bonsai Reflection — Different Clocks
Serissa blooms.
Sakura waits.
Both are correct.
Growth follows different clocks,
even when they share the same pot and sunlight.
