Day 5 of the Course: The purpose of today and the previous four days of sitting has been to make a connection with your breath and tap into that space of nothing within yourself - your Being.
**** A note about your sittings: You may have a lot of various emotions come up. You may have thoughts and situations come up from your past that make you uncomfortable. This is NORMAL. It's actually part of the healing process. These old thoughts or situations are coming up from a deeper part of yourself to be healed. Healing (and forgiveness) has many layers. Do not be aggravated because then you will give the negativity more energy. Simply recognize it, take a deep breath and continue focusing on your breath. Presence will dissolve the old and allow you to come back to the new.
