Philip proclaimed the gospel in Samaria and performed many miracles. A magician named Simon believed, but his heart was not pure in seeking the power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord led Philip to an Ethiopian eunuch who was reading from the prophet of Isaiah. Philip explained to the eunuch that the messiah who the prophet was speaking about was Jesus. The eunuch believed and was baptized. Philip continued going and preaching the gospel.
