Two sons of Aaron chose to disobey God’s commands concerning sacrifices. They were consumed with fire from the Lord and died. Moses commanded the priests to honor God and follow His commands precisely. God provided for the priests and their families through sacrifices. The priests were commanded to teach the people about clean and unclean animals as the Lord commanded Moses. God commanded the people to follow His laws and be holy.
