God gave His people laws for the purification of a woman after childbirth and burnt offerings and sin offerings. Male babies were to be circumcised on the eighth day following birth. God gave Moses and Aaron instructions for identifying leprosy and for determining when someone is clean or unclean as a result. He provided instructions for handling garments of those who were identified as being unclean from leprosy.
