Open Heaven Podcast – Day 68: The Expectation to Bear Much Fruit
đź“– Scripture Focus: Matthew 21:33-44
"Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard and put a fence around it, and dug a wine press in it, and built a tower, and he leased it to vine-growers and went on a journey. And when the harvest time approached, he sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his fruit. And the vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, killed another, and stoned another..."* (Matthew 21:33-35, NASB)
🎧 Episode Description:
In today’s episode of 90 Days Walking with the Holy Spirit, we examine The Parable of the Tenants (Matthew 21:33-44), where Jesus compares wicked tenants to fruitless believers. This powerful parable reveals God’s expectation for those who have received salvation, His Word, and the Holy Spirit—to bear much fruit.
Jesus teaches that those who fail to produce fruit in their lives risk losing the Kingdom’s blessing. While no one bears fruit perfectly, the mark of a true believer is the ongoing pursuit of growth in Christ. The fruit of the Spirit is the evidence that we are walking with Him, and God is looking for an increase in our lives.
🔥 In this episode, we’ll discuss:
✔️ How Jesus compares fruitless believers to wicked tenants.
✔️ Why bearing fruit is an expectation—not an option—for true disciples.
✔️ The role of the Holy Spirit in producing fruit within us.
✔️ How to evaluate and increase in the fruit of the Spirit daily.
