Toning or sound healing is the practice of making sound vibrations with your voice to bring your being into balance, promote wellness, and raise your vibration. Toning can help you to become more in tune with your deeper self and connect with your higher self.
Chanting is the practice of repeating words and phrases to bring awareness and focus to a higher power within yourself. Chanting can also be used to bring healing and spiritual growth.
On Day 7 of the Neptune Gong Challenge, you’ll be asked to use toning and chanting in your meditation practice. Set aside 10-15 minutes for this activity, and make sure you are in a comfortable position. Once you’re seated, close your eyes and begin chanting words or phrases that are meaningful to you. As you chant, focus on your breath and allow your body to relax.
Listen to the vibrations of your voice and delve deeper into your spiritual self. As you progress through the exercise, you’ll begin to feel lighter and your vibration will start to rise.
