What Makes a Great Podcast Trailer?

A strong trailer answers these three questions:
 ✅ What is this podcast about?
 ✅ Who is it for?
 ✅ Why should they keep listening?

Listeners decide in the first 30 seconds whether they’ll stick around—so this is our chance to hook them!

The 4-Part Trailer Formula

1️⃣ The Hook – A bold statement or question that grabs attention.

• Example: "What if I told you that selling online doesn’t have to feel like a grind?"
• Example: "Tired of posting content that gets crickets?"

2️⃣ The Who & The Why – Clearly state who the podcast is for and the transformation it offers.

• Example: "I’m [Your Name], a [Your Title/Expertise], and this podcast is for [Your Dream Audience] who are ready to [Big Goal]."
• Example: "If you’re an online coach or course creator who wants to turn followers into buyers without burnout, this podcast is for you."

3️⃣ What to Expect – Give a sneak peek of the topics you’ll cover.

4️⃣ Call to Action (CTA) – Tell them what to do next!

How to Record Your Trailer
