Day 74 - Eighth-notes with displaced accents
No drums for eight days, alas..., I hope the coming days will be better.
This is an exercise I just devised, playing RLLL and displacing the right hand by one eighth note at a time forward and backward. Hi-hat and bass drum play a standard samba pattern.
I had played that exercise before with the accented note with foot on hi-hat and the 3 other notes on the snare drum.
At the beginning of the video, I'm apparently confused about what I wished to play, but I fall down on the expected thing after a minute or so.
