The Lord gave instructions for cleansing. Anyone who was unclean as God described and did not follow the steps for cleansing would be cut off from God’s people. Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron, died in Kadesh. The people of Israel needed water and they grumbled against Moses and Aaron. Moses and Aaron sought God and He instructed them and provided water for the people. Moses and Aaron did not believe God and they did not honor Him before the people. God declared that Moses and Aaron would not lead His people into the promised land. God proved Himself to be holy. Aaron died at Mount Hor.
