Many search for happiness in temporary things, but Jesus offers something greater—true, lasting joy. This joy is not dependent on circumstances, success, or emotions. It is the supernatural result of abiding in Christ, obeying His commands, and bearing the fruit of the Spirit.

When we walk in obedience, love, and alignment with God’s will, we experience a deep, unshakable joy that cannot be taken away. Jesus was preparing His disciples for difficult times ahead, but He wanted them to know that His joy would sustain them—and that same joy is available to us today.
