How many times has someone yelled at you or was in a bad mood, and took it out on you. How did it make you feel? Probably hurt, and left wondering what did I do to deserve this? Many of us take things personally. I know I did, and it took many years to realize that it was not me who had the issue, it was them!!
We need to remind ourselves, “That we are not responsible for other people’s behaviors, feelings or emotions. “ So the next time someone yells at you or comes home in a bad mood, and takes it out on you, just calmly repeat that mantra “ I am not responsible for other people’s feelings, behaviors and emotions. “ With practice and consistency, you will stop internalizing things and become a much calmer, and happier person.
