Paul instructed single men and women who felt they were unable to control their passions to seek a spouse. Consider the needs of your spouse and do not withhold physical attention without reasonable cause. An unbelieving spouse should receive encouragement from their believing spouse and the unbeliever may become a believer as a result. Paul is not suggesting a believer marry an unbeliever to win them over. We are to live as God has called us to live, whether married or single. Consider how your actions effect other believers. Do not take advantage of your freedom in Christ to offend your brother or cause him to be tempted.
