Women who were descendants of Manasseh went before Moses to ask for their father’s inheritance. There were no men left as descendants of Manasseh, but inheritances were designated for male heirs of each tribe. Moses sought God for an answer. God honored the women with the inheritance of Manasseh. God allowed Moses to see the land God promised Israel. God told Moses his life would be taken as Aaron’s life was taken. Moses asked God to provide a leader for Israel. God told Moses to commission Joshua to lead His people. God instructed Israel to honor the offerings He demanded at their appointed time.
