Deuteronomy 21 through 23 details very serious rules about murder and marriage. Within these short few chapters we see many rules that are applied in full in the New Testament. One of these details those who are hung on a pole for punishment; this same punishment, which God has declared cursed, is the way Jesus Christ has redeemed us for our sins, for by His death He has broken our curse.
