Moses shared God’s Law concerning atonement for murders that were unsolved. Men of Israel were given requirements when marrying a woman that was captured during war. The firstborn son was to be honored by the father through his inheritance, even if he was not the favored son of the father. Evil was to be purged from the people of Israel. Purity was the focus of many laws given by God to Israel through Moses. These laws were given to protect Israel and to bless Israel in God.
