1. Where have you been placing your hope — and is it strong enough to hold you?
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." — Romans 15:13
2. What "dashboard lights" has your body or emotions been sending you that you've been ignoring — and what might they be trying to tell you about the condition of your heart?
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." — Proverbs 4:23
3. Can you name specific moments when God came through for you? What would it look like to build your own "Ebenezer" practice — a way of regularly remembering his faithfulness?
When hope dims, we often forget the evidence of what God has already done. Remembering is a spiritual discipline, not just a comfort strategy.
"Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:21-23
4. Where in your life have you shifted from hope into expectation — telling God what needs to happen rather than trusting him with the outcome?
