Six Days and A Day

Day Four: The Sun Appears

Listen Later

The chapter opens with a story Pastor Byers shares about a man who saw Christ in place of his wife during an argument, transforming their marriage. Day Four represents the believer seeing Christ clearly—the Sun of righteousness appearing in the inner life. This revelation changes how believers treat others because they see Christ in His Body. Many believers stagnate on earlier days because they do not realize greater experiences await. The sun, moon, and stars appearing on Day Four symbolize the glory of Christ becoming visible. Pastor Byers says that God still appears to His people today, just as He did to Abraham, Moses, Paul, and John. Paul’s statement “last of all He appeared to me” does not mean Christ stopped appearing after Paul. The chapter emphasizes that seeing Christ is a real, transformative spiritual experience. Day Four marks a major turning point in the believer’s journey toward maturity.
