The Psalmist wrote about God’s involvement in the minute details of life. But that’s easy to forget in the day-to-day chaos of raising teens!
In Psalm 139, we read that God knows when we sit down and when we rise up. He discerns our thoughts from afar, He’s acquainted with all our ways and even knows the words we’ll speak before we say them. If sitting and standing and thinking and speaking aren’t the ordinary stuff of life, I don’t know what is!
I find comfort in this passage of Scripture because it’s a reminder that God is right here, in the nitty-gritty of life, leading us in His ways. Your daily experience of raising teens, whether it’s complicated, exhausting, is all in the safety of God’s hands!
