Days of Old is now foreshadowing all the troubles that Judah faced. In fact, we know that the Lord God will also bring the Northern tribes back from the nations. Pertinent to the place where they wound up, captive in Babylon, losing #Jerusalem, the #Temple, #Priests, #Prophets, and the #LandofPromise, Here then Israel being #restored. Days of Old Isaiah’s Prophetic Book Pt212 Battle Lines
Days of Old is now foreshadowing all the troubles that Judah faced. In fact, we know that the Lord God will also bring the Northern tribes back from the nations. Yet for Judah and the Northern Tribes, Isaiah brings us very close to the end of the book that Isaiah is writing. A hard, bitter road was followed, but the Lords Mercy provided for Israel and brought them back. But still, remembering what God has done in their life and for that matter for all lives whose hope is in the Lord is paramount. The understanding here is amidst the trouble, pain, and backsliding; Israel is finally out of bondage, back in the Land. Isaiah here is summing up and ending with Hope and Salvation of the Lord.
Days of Old brings a valid point for all people everywhere who look to the #LordourGod and #JesusChrist our #Lord and #Saviour. That is, we can recall and remember the good old days. For some there are no good old days. But for the #HouseofIsrael, which was divided into two houses, Judah, and the #NorthernTribes; sin had separated them from the relationship and #blessings of #Jehovah. But there was a time just as Isaiah recalls saying in Isaiah Sixty-three verse eleven saying “Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the #shepherd of #hisflock? where is he that put his #HolySpirit within him.” The whole context of the verse brings to the forefront of the difference between #Judah then and now as #Isaiah points out. The question is pertinent to the place where they wound up, captive in Babylon, losing #Jerusalem, the #Temple, #Priests, #Prophets, and the #LandofPromise. Then being #restored. #DaysofOld

Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him? That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name? That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble? As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.
