EP 124: In the midst of planning a major gala featuring the Dayton Unit of the NAACP, unit President Derrick and wife Tiwona Foward sat down with host Dan Edwards to talk about the loss of Derrick's first wife and how Tiwona reentered his life 4 years later to make his life whole again. Derrick and Tiwona, a second generation educator, are writing the next chapter of their lives together with grace, service to others and God at the center of everything they do. Their wedding was a ceremony for the decades as Derrick proposed on stage of the NAACP National Image Awards show.
