As we watch the leaves turn to those deep colors and begin to fall, we see the beauty of the loss, but it is harder to apply that to our own soul. There are lessons in the fall, lessons in watching the trees turn loose of their leaves. It has to do with survival and ultimate renewal. There is no putting on the new without first putting off the old!
