It was October 31, 1517, when the monk and theologian Martin Luther walked up to the doors of the All-Saint’s Church in Wittenberg and posted his, “Disputation of Martin Luther on the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences,” which came to be known for the rest of time as, “Luther’s 95 Theses.” Thus, the Reformation, on of the most significant moments in church history was begun, and Luther, who never intended such an outcome, lit a fire that gave life to the Protestant rise and ultimately the evangelical movement of more recent times.
