To become more like Jesus we pray, we ask for the transformation of our heart and the renewing of our minds. We also turn our attention to him; he becomes the object of our beholding. There are many ways to do that, but certainly by meditating on the heart of Jesus as revealed in the gospels, we can be "changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18). Today we look at the compassionate heart of Jesus.
