New Fan Podcasts Dedicated To Upcoming CW & HBO Max Series On DC TV Podcasts’ 5-Year Anniversary

Friday, March 6, 2020 – DC TV Podcasts began exactly 5 years ago on this day as a podcast network for multiple high-quality DC Comics TV dedicated podcasts. To celebrate its 5th anniversary, DC TV Podcasts is expanding its lineup with its respective sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth podcasts. As The CW and the coming HBO Max streaming service are arriving with more DC programming, the network is proud to be launching: Superman & Lois Radio, Green Lantern Podcast, and Strange Adventures Podcast dedicated to The CW’s Superman and Lois as well as HBO Max’s Green Lantern and Strange Adventures!

Superman & Lois Radio is a fan podcast devoted to Superman and Lois, starring Tyler Hoechlin (Clark Kent/Superman), Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane), Jordan Elsass (Jonathan Kent), and Alex Garfin (Jordan Kent). The podcast will be hosted by Stargirl Podcast’s Angie Dahl (Comic Book Resources) and Lissete Sáenz (Fangirlish) as well as new members to the network Lyra Hale (Fangirlish) and Liz Twachtman (The Marvel Report)

Green Lantern Podcast is a fan podcast devoted to Green Lantern from Arrowverse executive producer Greg Berlanti. The podcast will be hosted byJohn Robinson (Beyond the IVWall Podcast), Foxy Jazzabelle (Foxy Jazzabelle’s website), Toni S. (Watchmen Podcast) and Ryanne Bennett (Black Girl Nerds.)

Strange Adventures Podcast is a fan podcast devoted to Strange Adventures which also comes from Arrowverse and Green Lantern executive producer Greg Berlanti. The podcast will be hosted by Watchmen Podcast hosts Carolyn Poddig (The Marvel Report, Swamp Thing Radio), Wendy Ryan (Swamp Thing Radio), Vanessa Young (Black Lightning Podcast) and Toni S (Watchmen Podcast).

Just like the majority of the other DC TV Podcasts, each show will have its own “Season Zero” which will begin in spring 2020, leading up to the respective series premiere of Superman & Lois, Green Lantern, and Strange Adventures. To get new fans and listeners ready for each show, Season Zero will go through the history of all these DC Comics properties both on-page and screen. Throughout the prequel season, the podcasts will do in-depth explorations of the characters and mythologies while dissecting past and current interpretations of Superman, Green Lantern, and Strange Adventures.

In addition, they’ll also focus on the characters’ appearances in the media, from movies to television as more information comes out on the new DC shows from The CW and HBO Max. Once Superman & Lois, Green Lantern, and Strange Adventures debut on The CW and HBO Max respectively, Superman & Lois Radio, Green Lantern Podcast, and Strange Adventures Podcast will become your one-stop shops for all things related to the three series.

Andy Behbakht, host of The Flash Podcast and Titans Podcast, will work as a consulting producer on the podcasts from behind the scenes with all 12 hosts. As of this announcement, episode 0 for all three new podcasts is available for listening.
