  • S5 Episode 16 - The Poof Point

It's finally here. We finally get to learn why someone thought it was a good idea to give this movie the title "The Poof Point" of all things.

But is it cringe or does it *poof* its way into our hearts? Only SCIENCE can decide.

  • S5 Episode 15 - The Jennie Project

    There's no monkeying around here - because JENNIE is a PRIMATE not a MONKEY and that's n o  j o k e.

And that's all of the movie. Anthropologists rejoice.

    Two more movies to go!

  • S5 Episode 14 - Prom Pact

It's time for the newest DCOM (and yes it's an *actual* DCOM we checked) - 2023's "Prom Pact." Just in time, too, as we're getting down to our final four movies OOooOOh. How does our final DCOM post-2003 fare?

  • S5 Episode 13 - Quints

    CW: Animal illness/death, pregnancy

In our *quintultimate*TM episode, we discuss the 2000 Kimberly J. Brown (of "Halloweentown"s 1-3 fame) "Quints"!

Honestly, there's a lot of sadness in this movie watching it as an adult and realizing the economic impact of having six children, five of them being infants. So...getting old is fun.

  • S5 Episode 12 - A Ring of Endless Light

    CW: Blood, Suicide, Cancer, Death

...Yeah this is a heavy movie for a DCOM, but more in a soapy way than ACTUALLY heavy.
Seriously, who read the FOURTH book in a lesser known book series from the 1960s-1980s and said to themselves "Yes. This. This is Disney Channel material."
    But hey- there's dolphins!

  • S5 Episode 11 - Ready to Run

First and foremost, technology was not Kyra's friend this week so her audio is a bit muffled and sounds like it was left on a decades old answering machine. Enjoy.

This week's movie SHOULD have been called 'Horse Sense' and we're not grumpy at all that it isn't. Where is the running? We expected the running!

  • S5 Episode 10 - Jumping Ship

In a sequel that shocked the world (because seriously, who asked for this?), we get to return to the world of the Lawrence brothers pretending to be cousins and now that Matthew's here...friends?

Also there are really unnecessary pirates, unfortunately.
