In Episode 73, "Vexing Vortex," the party navigates a series of supernatural mysteries following the destruction of the castle. The session begins with character recaps, highlighting Ellie’s growing unease with her "spirit caller" abilities and Ciara’s struggle with "Hans," a mysterious entity that occasionally seizes control of her body.

During their travels the Damsels have been given charge of a heavy relic box (also referred to as Rian's box).This "mysterious box" later appears to move on its own, prompting Ari into action and frantic calls to Art.

While resting, Luna is pulled into a vision where she encounters the spirits of Wilhelm and Nelda, Luna's ancestors. They reveal a grim fate: their souls are being "collected" by a demon who keeps their skulls as trophies and plead for help offering their old gear as a reward.

The tension culminates as the mysterious box leads to a magical anomaly that no one was prepared for.
