Game Setup

Last time on Shadow of the Dragon Queen: The disappearance of Arjan and appearance of Eldralin initially shocked the heroes, but in times of crisis, as these are, they soldiered on after realizing Eldralin was a priest of Paladine, clearly sent by the god to assist the heroes. They spent the night in the ruins of the Temple of Paladine, surrounded by undead and elementals. Early in the morning they leave to visit the Occupied Mansion next. En route they came across a curious death slaad who wants to eat one of each type of draconian. It promised to reward them for their help, and the heroes brought him two Kapak Draconians after fighting their way into the mansion. They snuck to the upper level of the mansion and attacked the Dragonarmies Captain Hask and his Clerks in the adjoining room. They defeat them, learning that the Dragonarmy came here because Lohezet is researching ancient magic. They intend to reactivate the city's ancient flying magic, but Lohezet isn’t getting along with Belephaion, a fanatic of the Dark Queen. With time pressing upon them to stop the city from being raised, intended to then be used against Kalaman and all of Ansalon, the heroes high-tail it to the floating Threashold of the Heavens.
