De-Conditioning Your Not-Self Ep#006

Listen Later

As human beings, we are conditioned from a young age by our families, society, and culture. We learn what is expected of us and how we should behave in order to fit in and be accepted. However, this conditioning can often lead us away from our true selves.

To decondition means to weaken or eliminate conditioned behavior patterns. Conditioned behavior patterns are learned responses that have been reinforced over time through repeated experiences and associations with certain stimuli. Deconditioning involves breaking these learned associations and weakening their hold on an individual's behavior. This can be achieved through various techniques such as becoming aware, making the subjective objective, and reprogramming the nervous system from the inside out. Deconditioning allows individuals to break free from limiting beliefs and behaviors so they can live more fulfilling lives. The first step in de-conditioning your not-self is to activate the 4-step success mechanism that is already part of your unique design. This mechanism includes:1. Strategy - understanding how you are designed to make decisions2. Authority - learning how to trust yourself and make decisions based on your inner authority3. Profile - recognizing your strengths and weaknesses based on your profile type4. Definition - understanding how you are energetically connected with othersOnce you have activated this success mechanism, it becomes easier to identify when you are not truly aligned with who you are and your inner authority. One way to become aware of these instances is through using a tool to make the subjective objective. Take time each day to check in with yourself and ask if what you're doing or feeling aligns with who you truly are.Human Design is a great tool which provides a blueprint for understanding one's unique energetic makeup and offers guidance on living authentically. It's important to remember that de-conditioning takes time and patience as it involves integrating (not unlearning) years of conditioning that may no longer serve us. But by taking small steps towards identifying our not-self behaviors and realigning ourselves with our true selves, we can live more fulfilling lives filled with authenticity, purpose, joy, peace, love & abundance!

It’s important to de-condition our minds from external influences and tune into our inner voice for guidance.

Becoming Aware is the first step. Identify When You're Not Truly Aligned With Who You Are.

Here are some practical tips for becoming aware and identifying when you're not truly aligned with who you are:1. Pay attention to your emotions: Emotions can be a powerful indicator of whether or not we're living in alignment with our inner authority. If you find yourself feeling consistently anxious, stressed, or unhappy, it may be a sign that something isn't quite right.2. Listen to your body: Our bodies often give us subtle signals when something is off-balance. Pay attention to any physical symptoms you might be experiencing (like headaches or stomachaches) as well as any feelings of tension or discomfort.3. Reflect on your values: Take some time to think about what's really important to you in life, both personally and professionally. Are the choices you're making aligned with these values? If not, it may be time to reevaluate your priorities. 6 areas of manifestation.4. Consider the opinions of others: While it's important to trust your own intuition and inner voice, sometimes an outside perspective can help shed light on areas where we might be out of alignment. I pay for professional opinions and guidance. 5. Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness practices like meditation and journaling can help us become more attuned to our thoughts and feelings, which in turn makes it easier to recognize when we're not living authentically.Remember that becoming aware of misalignment is just the first step towards creating positive change in your life! From there, take action by making small adjustments each day that bring you closer into harmony with who you truly are.

Reprogramming and integrating what no longer serves is crucial for growth and living a fulfilling life. When we hold onto old patterns, beliefs, or habits that do not align with our true selves, we create resistance within ourselves. This resistance can manifest as stress, anxiety, depression, or other negative emotions. Or the not-self will show itself as frustration, anger, bitterness, or disappointment. By identifying these patterns and actively working to reprogram them, we can release this resistance and allow ourselves to live more authentically. We become better equipped to handle challenges and make decisions that align with our values and goals.Integrating what no longer serves also allows us to let go of the past and move forward in a positive direction. It helps us develop greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence which are the foundation for the top 7 in demand soft skills for building healthy relationships with ourselves, at the work place, and with others. Ultimately, when we commit to reprogramming and integrating what no longer serves us, we open up space for new opportunities for growth, happiness, fulfillment in all areas of our lives, including increased confidence, clarity, and purpose.
