In this first edition of “De La Bonne Vibe” on Open Lab, we’ll start with a tribute to the late D’Angelo. Then we’ll take a journey through Europe with the soul sounds of Peki Momes and Emma-Jean Thackray, before heading to the USA with El Michaels Affair and making a stop in Brazil for a captivating duo between Ana Frango and the legendary Marcos Valle. After an exclusive track from the kaiser Rainer Truby on Miche’s Label, we’ll sail to the Tropics with Poirier, Bosq, and Captain Planet. Next up is some Nu-Jazz from Ludivine Issambourg and Kyoto Jazz Massive, as well as the genius of Brian Jackson, Rich Medina, and a Galliano remix by Frenchman Tom Laroye. We’ll then make a quick stop in Italy for Tomaso Capeletto’s latest project (ciao Carlotta…), before grooving to the Jazzy house vibes of Drama On The Corner and Owelu Dreamhouse, and the abstract hip-hop of Above The Clouds and Nick Marks. Finally, we’ll end our journey in Africa with Kotoa, Sunborn, and K Frimpong. Bon voyage!
